Since starting with IPAR I have loved every minute of it. The team that I work with here in Adelaide are extremely welcoming and everyone gets along well. The culture is great, we work hard but we also have fun. Coming in as the Branch Manager, my role involves managing our small team. I have found it very rewarding to watch the staff develop in different areas, and be a part of their journey at IPAR. Its particularly rewarding to see staff building key relationships with stakeholders, and the referral stream which stems from that.
I would recommend IPAR for several reasons. The culture is great, there is real flexibility and the management team are very supportive. Each consultant is trusted, and the role involves a high level of autonomy, whilst having access to ongoing support. There is great training and the company are invested in helping each consultant be the best that they can be. Working at IPAR has been a fantastic experience for me. I started in September 2013 and have enjoyed every moment; from being a fresh-faced rehabilitation consultant, learning all the different products and services IPAR offers, to my new role as a senior rehabilitation consultant.
IPAR provides a strong support network to advance your professional and clinical skills, whilst being flexible and relaxed, which encourages a strong team culture. I work within an amazing team in Parramatta, and can honestly say that I enjoy working with every single member of the team. I have the opportunity to work with a diverse client base which I find extremely rewarding as it constantly allows me to be challenged, to learn and to grow.
I have recently been given the opportunity to lead a small team, which provides another great avenue to expand my leadership skills. I could not ask for a better workplace in terms of culture, training and development, and career opportunities. I joined IPAR as a provisional psychologist and in additional to my Rehabilitation Consultant role, I was given the opportunity to work in IPAR’s paediatric clinic, Konfident Kids, which provided a full placement for my psychological registration program.
In 2013, I was promoted to a Team Leader role and in July 2014, I was promoted to my current role as the Penrith Branch Manager, where I get to lead one of the most diverse branches in IPAR nationally as we offer occupational rehabilitation services, clinical services as well as paediatric therapy services. Working as a Branch Manager has been so challenging but extremely rewarding; I learn every day as my role is so diverse, with my duties ranging from dealing with customers directly, HR management, strategic file reviews, business development and ensuring we meet our business and financial goals as a branch.
IPAR’s structured internal professional development program, in addition to the supportive and approachable managers and mentors in the organisation have equipped me with the skills and confidence to ensure I can support my branch to provide quality work to IPAR’s customers and work with my team to ensure we continue to be a successful branch. IPAR has not only provided me with training and support in terms of my clinical and technical skills, but also in the areas of leadership, financials, business development and customer relationship management.
I love that IPAR invests so much into their people and you never know what new opportunities could be around the corner!

Working at IPAR has exposed me to a whole new world in the rehabilitation field. What I like most about IPAR is that every day is different and every day poses its new challenges! The team of staff at IPAR are friendly and vibrant which makes for a great working environment. I worked as a Return To Work Coordinator for a large FMCG company and I continued in that field for a large public hospital network after returning to University. After graduating with a Bachelor of Psychological Science I wanted to pursue a career path that made use of my work experience and study, but I recognised that I didn’t want to pursue a clinical role as a psychologist.
Working for IPAR has proven to be the perfect fit for my skills, experience and interests. My studies in psychology have been invaluable in helping me fulfill my role as a support to injured workers engaged in occupational rehabilitation, and I feel that my experience with WorkCover from an employer’s point of view has helped me develop a good working relationship with other business stakeholders such as the WorkSafe Agents we service.
I have recently moved from Melbourne to regional Victoria and was really excited when an opportunity to work for IPAR came about. The IPAR culture is one of inclusion, support, health, excellence and mindfulness. Regionally, it is not unusual to be working ‘on-the-road’ a great deal and I am not based in the same office as my direct manager. However, I have never noticed this physical distance because of her enthusiasm, professionalism and great communication. IPAR have such a well-established support network. Everyone is ready to help and there are numerous resources available should I ever need a question answered or some direction with a case. These resources take the form of Subject Matter Experts that are always willing to talk, and a myriad of online documents to help employees achieve the best possible outcomes.

For me, the most enjoyable part of working at IPAR is the people that I get to work with. IPAR has created a culture of professionalism where the bottom line is completing the highest standard of work in our industry, whilst also managing to have fun and enjoy ourselves in the process. IPAR employees are a mix of caring, friendly, inclusive, passionate individuals who work as a united front with common goals to achieve. I feel no greater satisfaction than when one of my team members is successful, whether it be achieving a positive outcome on a tricky file, gaining a promotion, hiring a further consultant in their branch, or increasing the level of customer satisfaction or work received from an account that they manage.
Throughout my time at IPAR, I have received support from numerous resources, undertaken significant learning and development, along with being provided with professional development opportunities that have far exceeded my expectations. This has continued to provide me with new challenges each and every day, which provides variability in the work that I complete and keeps me happy in my role and motivated to provide a high level of service. The flow on effect of this is that my team members anticipate IPAR’s growth will continue, which in turn will lead to further professional development opportunities, which will allow them to achieve their professional goals, and keep them happy and engaged also.
One thing that further stands out is the equal opportunities that are provided to women, and in this business having the ability to work with some of the most intelligent and successful females I know is one of the most rewarding experiences.

I commenced with IPAR in 2011. In this time I have been given countless opportunities to progress my career from an occupational rehabilitation consultant to a senior rehabilitation consultant gaining a wide variety of skills to complement my B.Hlt..Sc Occupational Therapy degree. My favourite thing about working at IPAR is without a doubt the people, IPAR provides a supportive relaxed environment to come to work day in, day out.

I have been working for IPAR since 2012 and I have gained so much knowledge and experience. When I first started working for IPAR, I couldn’t believe how friendly and welcoming everyone was.
