Roles of variety, interest and challenge
The important role of our Rehabilitation Counsellors involves:
- Working with people who’ve sustained a physical or psychological injury
- Driving recovery and a return to work and wellbeing
- Supporting a diverse client base including people who’ve been injured in vehicle accidents
- Delivering holistic, client-centred services
- Assessing rehabilitation needs
- Completing early intervention assessments and return to work services
- Promoting psychosocial health and injury management
- Attending medical case conferences
- Promoting mental health
- Working autonomously with the support of a strong team
